I write because I’m curious.

The question of “why” is an ever-growing can of worms that fuels me to no end. This unruly curiosity also inspires me to write in multiple genres as well as break any writing rule that doesn’t suit me.

Currently, I am working hard to get Hawthorn, an adult paranormal fantasy, ready for self-publishing. I’m so excited about this story and wildly surprised by how much I love it. can’t wait to share it with you.

I have a YA SF trilogy I am calling Project Insurgents and am planning to self-publish. It is currently in edits to make sure it is solid enough to send out into the world.

I live in a valley in the San Juan Mountains with two dogs who can't decide if they'd rather be in or out, two cats who have to be loved continually or they cry and the occasional wandering bear who, ironically, is the least demanding animal in my life.

I am hard of hearing and unaided by choice (at least for now; I’m a firm believer in having the freedom to change one’s mind.) I’m married to an amazing guy who lets me stay home and write all day and have two kids who are too big to hold in my lap although I still try, and they let me ❥
